It's our 20th
birthday! Born in 1991, TTT was the world's
first luxury vacation club for owners of fine
properties. 20 years later, an article entitled "Way to
Go" in the March 2011 issue of Virgin Airlines'
Voyeur magazine calls TTT a trend that will
change the way you vacation. It says, "Trade to Travel
is an up-market 'you wish' kind of experience" and says,
"House swaps with Trade to Travel are on
everyone's wish list."

Extremely Exciting New
Policies:
To celebrate two decades of making
members happy, we're now going to make them even
happier!
Until recently, our transaction fee for
arranging properties for our members has been 20% of the
rental value of the accommodations - saving members 80%.
It was a revolutionary business model and now the best
is even better!
Now, all members who host one or
more high season weeks each year enjoy 90% SAVINGS every
time we arrange a property for them (meaning
our transaction fee will only be 10% of rental value for
all stays of a week or more, minimum transaction fee =
$250). We ask you to please consider the transaction fee
to be a tip for our services.
Plus, we're no longer going to charge a
membership fee (which until now has been $2500) and
we're not going to charge any annual dues whatsoever.
Now members pay only when they
play - and by "pay" we mean SAVE 90%!!
Serious Inquiries
Only:
Please understand that our new pricing
structure makes it more important than ever for us to
work only on "serious" requests. Please only ask us to
arrange a property for you if you're fairly certain that
you will reserve the property if we're able to fulfill
the request. This policy is in the best interest of all
members since it helps us provide our services as
inexpensively as possible and doesn't waste members'
time answering inquiries which aren't "serious." Thank
you so much for your support and collaboration!
New Point
System:
Another exciting outcome of our "20th
Birthday Celebration" is a new and simpler point system.
Whereas each point has always
represented $400 of rental value, each point will now
represent $1000 of rental value. For
example, a property which rents for $10,000 per week
will be 10 points. A property which rents for $7,800 per
week will be 7.8 points.
For example, if you currently have 40
points in your TTT account, those 40 points represent
$16,000 of rental value according to the old point
system. According to the new point system, the same
$16,000 of rental value in your TTT account will be
represented by 16 points. We'll be converting points
from the old system to the new system over the next few
weeks and we apologize for the inconsistencies it'll
cause on our website during the conversion.
Fractional Summit
Europe:
"Fractional Summit Europe" (sponsored by
Fractional Life) took place on February 17th and 18th at
the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square. I spoke there on
the value of exchange and rentals to fractional
properties/developments, private residence clubs, and
destination clubs. Our services are as ideal for
fractional properties/clubs as they are for wholly-owned
properties, adding unique value by arranging fabulous
vacations for their owners/members at 90% savings.
I'm a big fan of fractional ownership.
Most luxury assets sit unused most of the time (unless
their owners are members of TTT), so fractional
ownership makes perfect sense. Why pay all of the costs
of owning a vacation home (or yacht or aircraft) if
you'll only be using it a small percent of the year?
Fractional ownership (especially when coupled with
exchanges and rentals) makes maximum use of properties,
reducing overbuilding in our planet's most precious
vacation destinations.

Media Exposure:
Elle Magazine and other publications are
always looking for amazing properties for photo shoots.
If you own a property which is perfect for modeling
shoots, and if you'd like the exposure plus points equal
in value to the rental rate for the week, please give us
a call or shoot us an email. We'll let media know about
availabilities you'd like to offer.
