Hello, Members of Trade to Travel and
Owners of Luxury Properties Worldwide, FUN STORY: In our database, we are
able to see where visitors to our website are
coming from. Not long ago, I noticed that we were
getting a lot of hits from Craigslist.com.
Those of you who know the internet well, know that
Craigslist.com is one of the phenomenons of the web
world and jillions of people use it regularly for a wide
variety of purposes. I was baffled because as far as I
knew, we weren't listed anywhere on Craigslist. So, I
copy-n-pasted the address from which the visitors were
coming and found out that Craig of Craigslist had posted
a page on his site letting the public know that he was
looking for someone to redesign his website. He wrote
that anyone interested in bidding on the job should
first take a look at five web pages which were similar
to what he had in mind. I was bowled over to see that,
out of all of the websites in the world, THREE
OF THE FIVE PAGES were from the TTT website. I was so
proud!

| This property is not suitable for children. No children under the age of 16 allowed. No exceptions. Chateau de la Trousse was originally constructed in the 16th century and significantly modified in the mid 19th century. Held by by the same family since the time of the second modification, it has recently been divided into exclusive private condos. Rich in history, Chateau de la Trousse was used as an Army Hospital by the Allies during WWI and is one of the very few chateaus remaining that survived the fighting in the Marne Valley. The owners of the Chateau erected a monument at the foot of the poplar-lined drive in gratitude to the United States and those who fought in these decisive battes. The Chateau sits on 40 idyllic acres in the Champagne district yet is only 45 minutes by car from CDG airport and 20 minutes by RER train from the heart of Paris. Or, take a short drive into the ancient city of Meaux with its spectacular cathedral where you will find many restaurants and cafes and while there make sure and purchase some Brie de Meaux! Here you can get a train into Paris. An RER runs every 20 minutes Nearby Lizy sur Marne also has shopping for local produce and groceries. If you are still hungry for more shopping, visit Val de Europe. The largest mall in Europe, it is only a 15 minute drive from our home and, in addition to a mall, features an "outlet village" where you will find genuine bargains at outlets such as Kenzo, Eve de Lorme, Celine, Burberry, Bodur and many more. For fun, visit EuroDisney, also only a 15 minute drive. Located behind the huge, remote controlled iron gate, this apartment features three levels of chic Parisian living. Luxury acoutrements include our own sauna and whirlpool. Both ensuite baths have towel warmers. There is a half bath on the first floor. The gourmet kitchen features top of the line appliances. There is a cozy living area with flat screen TV and internet access on the second floor. Decorated throughout with an eclectic mix of French antiques an modern pieces by designers such as Phillip Starke. Enjoy the massive French stone fireplace, the sweeping, handcrafted stone Parisian staircase, the original exposed 16th century beams and charming views of both the rolling countryside and the cour de honour. All owners enjoy access to the entire property as well as the public areas of the main Cheateau including a large professional kitchen (if you want to have a party), beautiful terraces, laundry, entry hall, ornate sitting rooms and private chapel (where the family still hears mass once a month). Wander the 40 acres around both the immaculately landscaped formal gardens and the the more rustic gardens surrounding the large pond in back. Or spend time in the fully restored cutting and herb gardens, both of which are for the use of owners and guests. Lounge by the pool in the summer. In the winter, enjoy the view of the gorgeous rolling terrain of Champagne dusted with snow. Take a drive to visit the may Champagne caves closeby or take the train into Paris and enjoy the magical sight of the Champs Elysee and the Eiffel Tower lit for Christmas (along, of course, with incomparable Parisian shopping!). The on site caretaker will open the apartment, freshen it an have fresh linens for you upon your arrival. Upon departue you will need to have 80 euro cash for the maid. No guests under age 18.
