Deborah Rath Howell, TTT's Globe-Roaming Travel Writer, is a multi-faceted performer whose career in radio and TV has spanned many formats including Jazz, Top 40, R&B, Dance, News, and Talk. Her talents and accomplishments include professional modeling, singing, voice-overs, and record producing. As a vocalist, Deborah has climbed as high as #28 on the Billboard charts. She is the only air-personality to star on all three of Emmis Communications' Manhattan properties: CD101.9, Hot 97, and Kiss-FM. Off the air, Deborah and her trio of world-class musicians entertain at radio station functions, private parties, and jazz venues around New York City. She has sung the National Anthem at Giants and Shea Stadiums, and made history as the first woman to do play-by-play commentary for the WFL. In 1994, she hosted "Woodstock '94" - a live TV broadcast beamed to 54 countries. In 2001 and 2005, Deborah was nominated for "Personality/Show of the Year" for Smooth Jazz by "R & R Magazine" and was a winner in 2006 for "Outstanding Promotion Announcement or Series" in the New York Radio Awards. Her syndicated works have included many shows in Tokyo and Chiba, Japan. She hosted "American Dance Traxx" for Westwood One; the Gloria Estefan "Into The Light" special, which aired on over 200 stations worldwide; and was host/creator of "The Sounds of the New York Underground" which ran on four continents. With homes in Manhattan and Malibu, Deborah is a bicoastal American with an insatiable passion for life, travel, and adventure.
