Description

Corolla Light is an extremely well maintained resort. There are two airports: Norfolk Airport (1 1/2 hrs away from the house) and also a landing strip near Pine Island, midway up the peninsula. Plenty of shopping and grocery stores, fresh vegetable and seafood markets, fishing/tackle stores and a bakery. There is access to the sound, approximately 1 block walking distance. Beautiful sunsets, the Whalehead Clubh for tours, lighthouse, new wildlife nature center. Kyaking and boating area as well. The house has plenty of room and has a screened in deck with a large grill. Outdoor showers as well. Corolla spa has just opened and there is also Sanderling Spa. Around the corner, Monteray Shores offers a movie theater, video store ,sandwich/bakery/bagel/coffee shops, along with a 24 hour grocery store. Corolla's sports center is nice to visit on "not so nice" days with saunas, swimming, and exercise facility.
