Go from sleeping in one of 3 antique beds to a modern bath/shower full bathroom, and from a kitchen complete with all modern appliances to dining at the antique dining table. The sleeper sofa was newly purchased in 2004 and is of the highest quality. Hardwood floors with Oriental and throw rugs throughout house add to the home’s charm. The two-story porch is partially screened-in and enjoys an ocean view, and there in a fully fenced in yard (well-behaved dogs are welcome.) Many conveniences here make your visit a pleasant one: full-sized washer/dryer, cable television, air conditioning, paved parking, an outdoor shower and footwash, and plenty of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Beachview House is in a fabulous location in the village/pier area close to Neptune Park, you can see the water and yet are very close to town and in the middle of everything. Nearby amenities include an oceanfront public pool across the street, tennis courts (just 3 blocks away,) great shopping, restaurants, the lighthouse, the theater, library, and festival grounds. Neptune Park is the staging area for the Sunshine Festival, numerous wonderful Antiques Shows, the Arts and Crafts Festival, and the Sea Island Festival among others. You can''t ask for a more convenient or comfortable place to stay to enjoy the culture and beauty of St. Simons Island! Well behaived dogs are welcome! | |
