It has unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountain National Park mountain range. The main level has a kitchen and dining area, great room, front and back decks, 1½ baths and a Master Bedroom Suite. The upstairs loft is spacious and has a queen bed, dresser and night tables. Downstairs has a second bedroom/bath suite, and a large family room, wet bar, and a ¾ extra bath and laundry room. This lower level is a walk out with the same views. The Sol Vista Ski Resort is within walking distance and the main lodge has been completely renovated and just re-opened for the Winter season 2008. It is a wonderful affordable family ski resort. Should ski enthusiasts wish more challenging terrain, Winter Park and Mary Jane resorts are just 15 minutes away. During summer months, Headwaters Golf Course is an 18 hole Nicklaus designed course which too has been recently remodeled and re-opened in the spring of 2008. Beautifully nestled between the Sol Vista resort and the Fraser River, it offers challenging yet more forgiving play than typical mountain courses. The Fraser River offers private fishing access to guests at Granby Ranch. The Colorado River is publicly accessible within minutes. Other water sports abound at nearby Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain reservoir, and the quaint mountain town of Grand Lake. Estes Park and the vast Rocky Mountain National Park are just 45 minutes away by way of scenic Trail Ridge Road. | |
